Furthermore, the idea that groups of people were silenced is a macroscopic measure of historic porportions and certainly does not apply to 2021 in Hollywood. Look at the way that Sharon Osbourne or that conservative actress on the Mandolorian was given no benefit of the doubt over recent tweets.
I see little evidence that black people are denied opportunities, however, in Hollywood. Native Americans, South Asians, Latinos, sure, the black lives matter group just yells the loudest. They might have been denied opportunities en masse years ago but we've evolved and with that evolution should come an acknowledgement that this is largely a first world problem. If you're that concerned about racism, I'd humbly suggest that you focus on industries like politics where it is happening large scale rather than one of the most liberal institutions in the world..
