Well, you have a unique perspective on how your white allies might be kinder to you because you're a little more light-skinned.
I think that one negative aspect of the new phase of wokeness is making some either-or between allies or not white allies.
For instance, you wouldn't like me. I try my best to be aware of discrimination and listen to how it's broken down on racial lines, but I'm not that on board black lives matter to the extent that most liberals are today. I don't think that racism against Blacks is the biggest problem facing society today (I'd probably reserve that against emigrees crossing the Southern Border or Native Americans). So if you compare me to someone who would actually march in a BLM protest, it would benefit you to take that olive branch and do something with it and that starts with an appreciation that they care about your problems. Otherwise, and I might be wrong, but it seems you're turning away allies which isn't a good war plan.
I mean, Obama himself said as much in his criticisms of the new wokeness.
Again, I don't mean to disrespect you and I think your experiences are valuable and I doubt you'll like me, but I'd be curious to hear your response.
