This is a really good article, but I don't agree with your take on the Washington Post. I certainly don't think the newspaper needs to be taken to task for filtering out articles that could potentially hurt the subject. That's sort of above their pay grade and it's a very complex calculus and crystal ball they'd need to foresee exactly how an oped Amber Heard publishes leads to her own destruction.
Believe me, there are a lot of ethics in journalism, but think about what journalism would be if we stopped people from saying self-incriminating things (and that's more extreme than what Amber did).
The article is of value to the community and that's the main thing
