That's just not how knowledge works. Historians piece together perspectives from people who've been dead for hundreds of years. Journalists are trained to tell stories of people who aren't them. Sociologists can do demographic and sociological research. If you're seriously saying that anyone who attempts to make assessments about the black community as a population is spreading lies, misconception and misinformation if they're not black, then you're gaslighting as hard as the Trumpists who believe the election is stolen and the last administration isn't corrupt.

In art, film makers can show great capacity and understanding and do their homework. It made a great difference when Stephen Spielberg held town halls with Puerto Ricans over his new movie or when Matt Damon and Ben Affleck hired a female screen writer for The Last Duel. Raphael Bob-Waksenburg added a Latin American writer for that undead series starting a Latin American woman.

This doesn't mean people should omit those minority voices and they should be sensitive.

They should do their homework, but what your'e proposing is ridiculous and strikes me as someone mad with the power of wokeness.

I understand you've been historically deprived of a voice, but the solution isn't deprive others of a voice because that's where you start getting divisive and hurtful.

We are all stakeholders in society and to exclude us from town halls or policy making decisions that affect black people is generally to exclude us from policy decisions that affect the entire population. Very few things are only black people.
