On the mysoginy:

For the uneducated, what's the problem? If he has done things to demean women or abuse them, support your thesis and tell us.

As for cultural appropriation:

That in itself is not a crime, in my opinion. I wrote an essay about it somewhere. It more has to do with context and perhaps how you take credit for it. There is no form of culture that hasn't been copied in some form or another, particularly in the melting pot of the US.

As for the idea that he's pretending to be Black, why would anyone be a gatekeeper for how Black he could or couldn't be.

I know white people who pick up African American vernacular simply because they grew up in poorer inner-city areas and it just rubs off on them. It's very natural.

If you're Black, the idea of other people policing whether you're Black enough seems like a lot of stress to go through, it's a shame people have to add to it.
