New YouTube Video: Capitalism on Film in 2023

Another of my YouTube videos. This is extracted from a two-hour long conversation with three knowledgeable film buff friends that served as a review of 2023 in film.

The idea was to talk about film expectations verse reality but it’s hard to control what comes out of my guests’ mouths. The conversation veered into a lot of different directions, and at that point, we covered it with several themes.

At one point, we talked about the five films that dealt with heroes trying to navigate the maze of capitalism: Tetris, Blackberry, Flaming Hot, Air, and Dumb Money.
