My niece and nephew didn't have problems being popular in school, but had trouble finding the right learning environments. They went to private schools with small class-sizes. In those kinds of setitngs, the teachers are well-paid and skilled in bully prevention, and the the small class sizes help prevent cliques/gossip/reputations
