It's a creepy movie but Muriel Hemingway has positive things to say about Allen in her memoir, spoke at his AFI Lifetime achievement award and said she'd work with him again. He made a move but respected her wishes, it seems. Certainly that is nothing to lose a career over. And Woody has never dated someone who was under the age of consent. If you think the age of consent should be higher, than raise it there and criminalize that.
The market speaks so fewer people like Woody Allen films and that's fine but to actively work to prevent art from being shown is also extremely problematic.
The attacks by the Farrow family cover up the fact that Mia Farrow covered up the fact that two of her kids died from suicide, at least two (Soon-Yi and Moses) were physically abused, one died penniless from poverty after she spoke up against Mia, and Mia Farrow engaged in her own May-September romance with her friend's husband (Soon-Yi's father) that left her institutionalized.
