Interesting. I always assumed that Monique was one of those people who wasn't good with the media. I remember one time she argued with Steve Harvey about how trying to appease executives was racist or something and didn't like that, but she also probably gets a lot of crap for whatever reason.

She does have an Oscar though so it's not like the industry never gave her any respect.
