I wish you drew some more evidence that people view child stars' grown-up problems with skepticism or don't believe them.

As opposed to say Christine Blasey Ford, they're probably the easiest people to believe.

I think the tabloids sensationalize their struggles as adults and perhaps they are set up to fall but I don't think that people think the substance abuse problems of Lindsay Lohan or Amanda Bynes aren't real things.
