I think that's the central problem here Virginia. Racism is the catch-all word now used to describe anything that's not progressive enough. It's the scarlet "r".
This is merely analysis you can disagree with. I know it's exhausting to wade in with people who have opinions you don't really like, but to reduce it to a racist opinion is mischaracterizing it and leading to less confidence in the "anti-racism" movement's ability to accurately call out a problem like the boy who cried wolf. It's also highly dogmatic. Perhaps, at best, you can say that his ideology is parallel to people who use those points of view for racism.
I know many people think it's brave to call out racists for being racist but it's the opposite in my point of view. We learned to name call each other in elementary school.
