I read it differently: It's ok to be whatever race you are and there is a lot of weird derogatory statements going around (especially in liberal school systems) about white people being responsible for all the wrongs. If critical race theory goes too far, it's a proper defense against it.
Saying it's ok to be white is not equivalent to "white people are better than other races" so don't try to say it's thinly veiled white supremacy. You make the whole conflict worse by trying to take one thing and wrongly interpret it as another thing. That's called weaponizing offense.
