A Message to the Class of 2007

I graduated college in 2006 and this is something I wrote on Facebook a year after I graduated. I was not aware that Facebook kept track of such things, but it resurfaced today. Easy posting fodder!

This is something that I’ve wanted to write for a while but never got around to it but it gets less relevant and relevant as we go on. It’s somewhat of a non-issue for me, but every once in a while, I get bothered about this when I occasionally feel social and want to go out and call a bunch of people and they’re all busy and stuff and I realize things aren’t what they used to be in town. I don’t really blog on here since I have a couple other outlets at this point to be able to write whatever comes into my head (including one for nbc4), so I don’t need to blog on facebook, but this is more of a social issue.

Anyway i do want to address a lot of people and for a while i kind of liked using this facebook note tool as a way to write to the class below me about what life is like after college if it would help them be prepared for it, and that made me feel useful. Now the class of ’07 is around where I am, out of college, and that’s when I first wrote this and then i pressed some button and a lot of it got deleted so i gave up on it. But better late than never.

Anyway, I’m too late for this message to have much relevance for my own class, but the class of ’07 should be getting to the point where your summer is ending. My memory is that there’s a buffer that lasts until the end of the summer where you and your…
